About the AUG

Overview
The AUG is an automatic assault rifle issued to the Counter-Terrorist side for $3,300, one of the pricier rifles available. It is based on the Steyr AUG, an Austrian design from 1978, and can be fired either with its built-in scope active or without it. The rifle holds 30 rounds per magazine with 90 in reserve and fires at about 666 rounds per minute, dealing 31 to 35 damage to the body and 100 to 112 to the head. Its scope gives it strong performance at long range and its magazine outlasts most rivals, but the high price is compounded by bullet spread that widens noticeably during burst fire.
Skins
The wiki lists 46 skins for the AUG. Mil-Spec Grade leads with 15, Restricted and Consumer Grade each add 9, Classified contributes 7, Industrial Grade adds 4, and Covert accounts for the remaining 2. Among the rarest named are Akihabara Accept, Chameleon, Bengal Tiger, and Death by Puppy.
