About the ★ Classic Knife

Overview

The Classic Knife updates the plain, default knife carried in earlier versions of the game into a distinct collectible blade. Its shape draws from a Bowie-style knife called the Badlands Bowie, the work of designer Mick Strider, and it has a rare inspect animation in which the player tosses it into the air before catching it. This knife has been available since October 2019, when the CS20 Case launched, and unlike most other knives it is unboxed from that single case alone rather than a wider set. Every finish made for it, whatever the pattern, is graded Covert rarity, the same grade every knife finish receives.

Skins

The wiki lists 13 skins for the Classic Knife, one of the smallest lineups among the game's knives, and every one is Covert rarity. Named patterns among the rarest include Blue Steel, Case Hardened, Fade, and Safari Mesh, finishes shared with several other knives despite the different blade.
