Overview
Dark Polymer is a Mil-Spec Five-SeveN finish from The Dead Hand Collection, available through the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal as its source. A StatTrak™ edition of this pistol finish is also made.
Design
The paint job makes the pistol look as though it is built from transparent purple polymer, finished with a glossy, candy-shell-like coating over the surface. Light passes through the purple tone the way it would through tinted plastic.
Float and wear
Dark Polymer's float spans the entire 0 to 1 range, putting all five exterior grades into circulation for this pistol. The transparent purple coating looks glossy near Factory New and turns scuffed and cloudier as float rises toward Battle-Scarred.
