About the G3SG1
Overview · Skins
Overview
The G3SG1 is a scoped semi-automatic sniper rifle issued to the Terrorist side for $5,000. It is modeled on the HK G3 SG1, a German rifle from 1973, and holds 20 rounds per magazine with 90 in reserve. Its rate of fire of about 240 rounds per minute is the fastest of any sniper rifle in the game, and it deals 82 to 99 damage to the body and 263 to 319 to the head. Heavy recoil and the high price offset that damage and fire rate, and it is also the only rifle in the game built with five sticker slots instead of the usual four.
Skins
The wiki lists 30 skins for the G3SG1. Mil-Spec Grade leads with 11, Consumer Grade follows with 8, Restricted adds 5, Industrial Grade contributes 4, and Classified the remaining 2; there is no Covert finish. Named entries among the rarest include Flux, The Executioner, Chronos, and Dream Glade.
