Overview
The MP9 is a submachine gun restricted to the Counter-Terrorist side, priced at $1,250. It is based on the Brugger & Thomet APC9, a Swiss submachine gun from 2010, and it is among the fastest-cycling weapons in the game at roughly 857 rounds per minute. A 30-round magazine with 120 in reserve backs that rate of fire, though body shots only deal 19 to 32 damage and headshots 61 to 104, both on the low end for its class. High accuracy and a low price make it an efficient early buy, and kills with it pay out well, but stronger recoil, weak armor penetration, and its tight spread work against it at range.
Skins
The wiki lists 47 skins for the MP9. Mil-Spec Grade is the largest group at 18, Consumer Grade follows with 11, Restricted adds 9, Classified contributes 5, Industrial Grade supplies 3, and a single Covert skin tops the list. Among the rarest named are Starlight Protector, Airlock, Food Chain, and Hydra.
