Overview
R8 Revolver | Dark Chamber is an Industrial Grade finish from The Achroma Collection. The revolver trades a fast follow-up shot for heavy per-round stopping power, best fired with a fanned hammer at close range. This finish is applied directly to the grip using an acrylic pour technique.
Design
The grip is finished in an acrylic pour pattern, a technique in which thinned paint is poured so its colors spread and swirl together rather than being brushed on. Here the palette stays dark and muted, giving the panel a mottled, marbled look that suits the finish's Dark Chamber name. The effect concentrates on the grip panel rather than the whole frame.
Float and wear
Dark Chamber's float runs from 0.00 to 0.80, and it is available across all five exteriors, Factory New through Battle-Scarred. Low floats keep the acrylic pour crisp and glossy, while higher floats dull the sheen and add visible surface wear. Because the range stops at 0.80 rather than reaching 1.00, the most extreme battle-worn look is slightly softer than on skins with a full float span.
