Overview
The Sawed-Off is a shotgun sold to the Terrorist side for $1,100, one of the least costly weapons above pistol tier. It is based on the Remington 870, an American pump-action shotgun from 1950, cut down here into a compact, sawed-off configuration. It carries only 7 shells per magazine with 32 in reserve and fires at a slow 71 rounds per minute, though each blast deals 30 to 40 damage to the body and 96 to 128 to the head at close quarters. That damage tapers off fast with distance, and heavy recoil combined with the low fire rate makes follow-up shots slow, but the low price still makes it a viable option for a round with a tight budget.
