Overview
★ Survival Knife | Rust Coat is a Covert item dropping from the Fever Case instead of a numbered collection. A StatTrak™ edition of this knife exists alongside the standard release, and both share the same worn, rusted look described for the finish.
Design
The knife keeps its broad, sturdy blade and composite handle inserts, described as a memento from Siege whose exterior surfaces have rusted despite still being operational. The rust sits over the metal rather than being polished away, so the scarring reads as part of the finish itself.
Float and wear
Rust Coat's float sits at the high end of the scale, running from 0.4 to 1, so it only appears in Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred condition. Even at the lower end of that range the rusted surface already reads as heavily aged rather than lightly marked.
