Overview
The Talon Knife has a curved blade held in a reverse grip, making it a variant of the karambit style rather than a straight fixed blade. It carries several unique inspect animations not shared with most other knives, and it is one of the more frequently chosen knives among CS2 players. This knife has been available since August 2018, when the Horizon Case launched, and like every knife it is never bought directly; it only turns up as a rare special-item drop from the Danger Zone Case, the Horizon Case, the Prisma Case, and the Prisma 2 Case. Every finish applied to it, regardless of pattern, carries Covert rarity.
Skins
The wiki lists 25 skins for the Talon Knife, all of them Covert rarity like every knife finish in the game. Named patterns among the rarest include Boreal Forest, Damascus Steel, Doppler Phase 1, and Crimson Web, several of which recur across the game's other knives.
