About the Tec-9
Overview · Skins
Overview
The Tec-9 is a semi-automatic pistol sold to the Terrorist side for $500, drawing on a pistol developed in Sweden during the 1980s. It holds 18 rounds per magazine with 90 more in reserve and cycles at about 500 rounds per minute, dealing 37 to 41 damage to the body and 118 to 130 to the head, high figures for its price bracket. Accuracy and damage stand out as its main strengths, though heavy recoil and a wide spread make it harder to control over multiple shots. CS2's balance changes have toned the pistol down more than once since its release, and outside the game, owning this design is against the law in most countries.
Skins
The wiki lists 48 skins for the Tec-9. Mil-Spec Grade dominates with 20, Industrial Grade follows with 9, Restricted and Consumer Grade each add 8, and Classified supplies the remaining 3; the pistol has no Covert finish. Named entries among the rarest include Decimator, Fuel Injector, Remote Control, and Nuclear Threat.
