Overview
The ★ Skeleton Knife | Doppler is a Covert special item, one of the knives that only drop from cases rather than matches. The Fever Case supplies this Doppler finish, and it is also sold in a StatTrak™ edition.
Design
Black and silver metallic paint is worked into a marbled pattern across the blade using a marbleizing medium, then sealed under a glossy candy coat. Rather than forming solid blocks, the two metallic tones twist together in continuous curling lines.
Float and wear
Float is confined to 0 through 0.08 on this finish, meaning it exists only in Factory New and Minimal Wear. That narrow ceiling keeps the candy-coated shine looking fresh across the entire range.
Pattern
A pattern seed fixed to each copy determines how the black and silver marbling twists and where each tone concentrates, so the exact swirl is unique to that individual knife.
