Overview
SSG 08 | Calligrafaux is an Industrial Grade finish issued through The Harlequin Collection. The SSG 08 is a low-cost bolt-action rifle suited to early-round, long-range marksmanship despite modest damage. Its finish applies a red calligraphy-style design across the stock and body.
Design
Red script-like strokes cover the rifle in a calligraphy design, imitating handwritten lettering without necessarily forming legible words, hence the faux in its name. The red ink-like color contrasts against the rifle's base surface, concentrating visual weight in the flowing linework. No further texture beyond this design is specified.
Float and wear
Calligrafaux carries the full 0.00 to 1.00 float range, matching its complete set of exteriors from Factory New to Battle-Scarred. Near zero the red calligraphy reads crisp and sharply inked, while higher floats wear the design down toward the faded, scuffed look of Battle-Scarred. Nothing restricts this skin from reaching either extreme of that range.
