Overview
SSG 08 | Sans Comic pairs a Consumer Grade rarity with The Achroma Collection. The SSG 08 is an inexpensive bolt-action sniper rifle useful for long-range picks early in a round. The finish combines a grayscale pattern with areas of high-gloss silver paint.
Design
Grayscale tones form the base pattern, while sections of high-gloss silver paint add a reflective contrast against the flatter grey areas. The mix of matte grayscale and glossy silver gives the surface two distinct textures rather than one uniform coat. Together they keep the weapon in a black, white and silver range without other color.
Float and wear
Sans Comic keeps to a tight float band, 0.00 to 0.50, yet all five exteriors are still available, Factory New through Battle-Scarred. At the cleanest end the silver paint keeps a strong gloss against the grayscale pattern; by 0.50 the surface already shows the wear associated with Battle-Scarred condition. This makes it one of the narrower float ranges in the set, stopping well short of 1.00.
